For many children, meeting their favorite creator or visiting Disneyland is a dream, but for 40 Make-A-Wish kids , it became a reality thanks to MrBeast and Disney. The world’s most-followed YouTuber, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, teamed up with Disney, YouTube, and Make-A-Wish America to deliver an unforgettable “Frightfully Fun Wish” experience at Disneyland Resort.
The event brought together some of the internet’s biggest creators to meet children battling critical illnesses and give them a day filled with joy, laughter, and creative adventures. From art workshops and candy-making to exclusive park access, the initiative captured the heart of what both MrBeast and Disney are known for, giving back in extraordinary ways.
A dream collaboration built on hope and creativity
MrBeast teamed up with Disney and Make-A-Wish to create a magical Disneyland experience for 40 children battling critical illnesses, turning heartfelt wishes into unforgettable moments of joy and hope. “When I heard that I had a little bit of a backlog of wishes, I reached out to Disney and I was like, ‘Hey, can we do something big?’” MrBeast shared.
His goal was simple, to give these kids a day they’d never forget. At Disneyland Hotel and Disney California Adventure, the creator hosted “Beast Games” with his friends and handed out props from his famous YouTube challenges. The children were also paired with creators like Zach Hsieh (ZHC), Chef Amaury Guichon, and Mark Rober for unique hands-on experiences that blended science, art, and imagination.
Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro praised the event, saying, “The demand for creator wishes has more than doubled at Make-A-Wish over the past decade, so teaming up with today’s most influential creators was the perfect way to deliver a truly one-of-a-kind Disney wish.”
Families celebrate a day of joy and healing
For many families, the event offered a rare moment of happiness amid ongoing medical struggles. “I haven't seen her this happy during this whole time, until this moment,” said Karla, whose daughter Regina Lopez, a young leukemia survivor, spent the afternoon creating art with ZHC.
As Disney and MrBeast continue expanding their partnership, the day served as a powerful reminder that magic isn’t just about theme parks or viral videos, it’s about bringing light and hope to those who need it most.
