'If you want to live in Muslim country, go back to the UK:' Brandon Gill jabs Mehdi Hasan after he says 'Your wife is an Indian American'

The dispute between Congressman Brandon Gill and British-born Indian-American broadcaster Mehdi Hasan has taken centre stage over the religious issue.

Taking a jab at Mehdi Hasan over his "Indian-American wife" remarks, Gill asked him to go back to the UK if he wanted to live in a Muslim country .

"My wife is a Christian and doesn’t want to hear your oppressive Muslim prayer calls, either. If you want to live in a Muslim country, go back to the UK," Gill said in a post on X.
