A "game-changing" air fryer hack can turn a bagel into garlic bread in just eight minutes. Air fryers are quickly becoming a kitchen staple, they're cheap to run and provide crispy and crunchy results using less oil. One person has shared on TikTok how to create a perfect tasty garlic bread out of a bagel.
The bagel is first sliced up into bitesize pieces, and then added to a bowl with olive oil, parmesan, and herbs such as oregano and parsley.
It is then put in the air fryer for eight minutes at 180C. The person also recommends a tasty garlic mayo which makes a perfect dip.
The quick snack was praised by others on the social media platform, which has been the source of many air fryer hacks since the kitchen appliances first emerged, reports The Mirror.
Research by Raffolux, shows searches for air fryer hacks have risen by 305% since last summer and are at their highest since peaking in 2019.
Videos using the #airfryerhacks hashtag have recorded 424.2 million views, and air fryer tips risen by 67.3 million.

If you prefer more meaty snacks, pepperoni "crisps" have become popular on gourmet site Planet Food.
A clip which has attracted more than 363,000 views shows the user laying pepperoni over the bottom of the air fryer and cooking for three minutes at 200C before using kitchen roll to make it crispier.
Mozzarella cheese and basil are added on the top part-way through cooking.
