Princess Charlotte was given a very special gift from her dad Prince William after a visit to the meet with the Lionesses. Earlier this year, William treated his 10-year-old daughter to a special outing to watch the Lionesses claim victory at the Euros.
Upon meeting the Lionesses back in 2022, William had a dedicated comment from Charlotte to deliver to the team. He told them: "Charlotte wants me to tell you she's really good in goal... a budding star for the future!"
Lioness Lucy Bronze has now revealed a special gift that they gave to William for Charlotte - a present that may have elevated her passion for the sport further.
Speaking to HELLO!, Lucy said: "I remember when Charlotte was born, we had a little England Lionesses kit made for her, and we gave it to Prince William when he came to St George's Park to meet us.
"It's been nice to watch her grow up as well, and knowing that we've tried to impact little girls like Charlotte in England and empower them to do whatever they want when they're older."
Praising the future monarch, Lucy, 33, described William as being "fantastic" for his ongoing support.
She added: "He's been to almost every pre-camp, and he always comes and says good luck to us in person."
She also added that they now have a "personal connection" and "it's always nice to have a little chat" when he comes to support them at games.
Back in 2022, just before the UEFA Women's Euro Final, Charlotte joined her dad to wish the Lionesses good luck.
In the heartwarming clip, Charlotte said, "Good luck, Lionesses," while William expressed his sadness at not being able to attend the match.
