Apple's latest MacBook Pro has just gone on sale and offers a mighty boost in performance. This latest laptop is now powered by the new M5 processor, which is not only much faster but also far more efficient. That means you can push things to the limit and still expect some pretty epic battery life. As you can read in our full MacBook Pro M5 review, this is a tough PC to beat, but it's not exactly cheap. Prices start from a whopping £1,599. Ouch!
If splashing all that cash in one go sounds far too much for the current finances to cope with, there is another option. Sky is already offering the new MacBook Pro M5 on contract, which means you can spread the cost of owning it.
To make things look even more tempting, there's just a £7 upfront fee to pay. Things then start from £35 per month, which even includes 100MB of monthly mobile data.
The only thing to be aware of is that the price is based on a 48-month contract, so you'll pay a total of £1687 over the four-year term.
That is clearly more expensive than buying the £1,599 MacBook Pro M5 from stores such as Apple or Argos, but it does eliminate the need to pay all that money upfront.

So, other than the M5 chip, what else do you get for your money?
The MacBook M5 comes packed with a 14-inch Liquid Retina XDR display, a premium design and faster storage, which helps to speed up those daily digital tasks.
There's 24-hour battery life, quicker charging and a market-leading Force Touch trackpad.
For those daily Zoom calls, you'll get a 12MP Centre Stage camera with support for Desk View that helps you look your best in any light.
The only thing that the MacBook Pro M5 doesn't feature is a plug in the box, with this vital accessory being removed due to upcoming EU rules.
That means you'll need to invest in a charger if you don't already have one. Prices for a 70W plug start from £59.
