The late Queen Elizabeth's warning to Camilla Parker-Bowles on the morning of her wedding to King Charles has been revealed. Charles and Camilla tied the knot in a civil ceremony in Windsor in 2005, eight years after his ex-wife Princess Diana's tragic death in a car crash in Paris. The ceremony was attended by Charles' sons Prince William and Prince Harry, as well as Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.
As Camilla and Charles took pictures outside Windsor Guildhall with the royal family, a lipreading expert has revealed the conversation between Charles, Camilla and the late Queen. According to lipreader Nicola Hickley in Channel 5's Lip-Reading The Royals: The Secret Conversations, Camilla could be seen pulling at her gold feather headdress and saying: "I wish I hadn't had feathers."
Charles is then seen turning his head to the side as he replied: "They look awful."
The Queen is then seen walking towards Charles as she then says to him: "I did forewarn her not to wear feathers," as Charles doesn't respond and Princess Beatrice can be seen smiling to herself.
Following Princess Diana's tragic death in 1997, Camilla and Charles went public with their romance in 1999, and were pictured leaving The Ritz after attending Camilla's sister's birthday party together.
As the pair got into the car together in front of 200 photographers, Nicola claimed that Charles said to Camilla: "I think that all went very well".
Charles and Camilla's relationship was revealed when Princess Diana Panorama interview with Martin Bashir in 1995 to discuss the breakdown of her marriage to Charles.
She said Camilla was the "third person in their marriage", making it "crowded", before opening up about her affairs and her upset at the marriage coming to an end.
The interview was watched by over 23million people on the BBC, breaking records at the time, and led to Diana and Charles finally getting divorced in 1996, after four years of being separated.
