Manchester United are gearing up for the first Manchester derby of the season this weekend. The Red Devils will face off against Manchester City on Sunday afternoon, aiming to secure their second victory in a row. Ruben Amorim's squad triumphed over Burnley prior to the international break in September. After honing their skills on the training pitch over the past fortnight, they're now setting their sights on causing another upset at the Etihad.
With Andre Onana having left the club and Senne Lammens stepping in, all eyes were on who Amorim would choose as his goalkeeper. However, the Portuguese manager has confirmed that Altay Bayindir will keep his place between the sticks. Even though domestic football is back in full swing, transfer speculation continues. With this in mind, Express Sport brings you the latest news and rumours...
Emi Martinez January move
United reportedly may consider making another bid for Aston Villa's Emiliano Martinez when the transfer window reopens in January.
United had previously looked into signing the Argentine keeper this summer - but instead decided to go after Senne Lammens. However, talkSPORT claim that if the Belgian struggles to secure his position, Martinez's situation could be reassessed when the window reopens.
Martinez is expected to reclaim his spot as Villa's first-choice goalkeeper.

Marcus Rashford return rubbished
Rashford's inability to find the net or provide an assist during his opening three La Liga appearances at Barcelona has prompted publications to suggest that the Catalan giants were mulling over terminating his loan spell from United.
Nevertheless, Spanish reporter Guillem Balague has dismissed these reports. He posted on X (formerly Twitter): "Absolutely rubbish that Barcelona is planning to end up early Marcus Rashford loan deal.
"Barca told his representatives that they have a lot of confidence in Rashford's potential and they believe he will recover as a top player. No more to say, apart from the fact I agree with Gary Lineker and his treatment by some media."
