M62 LIVE: Traffic stopped as shocking photo shows van toppling over

Traffic has been brought to a standstill on the M62 and a shocking photo of the carnage shows exactly why. The image, taken from the trans-Pennine motorway, shows a truck which has collided with the central reservation separating the east and westbound carriageways. However, video footage and images from the scene shows a car trapped underneath the truck.

West Yorkshire Police has confirmed that the crash has not caused any injuries, according to the Manchester Evening News. The crash near J22 for Rishworth Moor is being responded to by emergency services. The stretch of motorway has been shut westbound, while one lane eastbound has been closed.
