At the British Museum’s glamorous Pink Ball, where most guests opted for Western gowns, Nita Ambani made a graceful statement in a traditional Indian Kanjeevaram saree.
The powder pink saree from the Swadesh brand was handcrafted in pure mulberry silk with real gold zari by veteran weaver R. Vardan.
Styled by Manish Malhotra, the saree featured a metallic sequin border and cutwork zari pallu, paired with an off-shoulder corset blouse. Completing her royal look, Nita wore an exquisite emerald-and-diamond necklace, matching earrings, and a statement ring. With minimal makeup and softly waved hair, her look effortlessly embodied timeless Indian elegance — a true celebration of heritage on a global stage.
