Love Island winning couple 'revealed' just days before the final

Love Island couple Shakira Khan and Harry Cooksley have become the fan-favourite couple to win this year's series. After a tense few weeks, the remaining couples, including Shakira and Harry, Ty and Angel, Megan and Conor, Blu and Helena, Toni and Cach, Yas and Jamie, and Meg and Dejon, who have been together since day one.

Viewers recently shared their predictions on which couple is next to be dumped, with fans taking to X/Twitter tosay Blu and Helena will be next to go as they're the only non-romantic couple in the villa after Harry chose to couple up with Shakira. Blu and Helena were then forced to couple up.

One user wrote on X : "Blu getting dumped tomorrow," and another person commented: "Blu dumped again." One convinced user added: "So we don't get to see blu dumped tonight." It comes after Love Island was hit with 9,000 Ofcom complaints over the way Blu spoke to Toni.

With only days together, fans have also been picking who they want to win, and there has been a huge move in the Love Island betting market, with Shakira and Harry moving into 11/2 from 25/1.

Bettings odds for the winners were previously dominated by Yas and Jamie and Toni and Cach (both joint 6/4). Meg and Dejon are coming in at 7/1, Megan and Conor at 12/1, Angel & Ty at 20/1 and Helena and Blu coming it at 100/1.

A spokesperson for William Hill said: "We thought Love Island 2025 was a two-horse race but with days to go before the final, we have seen a significant mover in the betting.

“Shakira Khan & Harry Cooksley are now 11/2 to be named the winning couple, having been as big as 25/1 previously. Yasmin Pettet & Jamie Rhodes and Antonia Laites & Cach Mercer have been vying for favouritism all week and have taken exactly the same amount of bets – both priced at 6/4 – with Shakira & Harry now third in the market.”

It comes as fans were weirded out by Harry's 'stink' obsession. After Harry recoupled up with Shakira, he took her to the dressing room for a private chat.

"That was not easy. Not in terms of who I was going to pick, but just both of you [Shakira and Helena] being stood up there," he told her.

Shakira replied: "I can’t believe we’re back at day two, right back to where we started. Further back if that’s even possible. This is no good." The pair both vowed that they would take 'baby steps' in going forward so that they could get used to the situation, and enjoyed a cuddle together. But as Harry leaned in for a kiss, Shakira turned to give him her cheek.

Harry brought up the fact that one of them smelled bad, and Shakira replied: "It's me, I'm ponging." An excited Harry said: "Are you? What a shame, come closer." T

he moment did not go unnoticed by viewers and they flooded social media with their reactions as they began to discover Harry's secret thing for armpits. One viewer wrote: "Harry's armpit obsession needs to be studied," whilst another wrote: "I thought Emma was the weirdo for the armpit thing, but it turns out Harry is the armpit fetish freak."
