Grey’s Anatomy fans have reason to celebrate as the first season of the medical drama’s popular spin-off Station 19 has recently been made available for free in the UK.
The soapy yet action-packed drama follows the lives of the daring men and women in Seattle, Washington’s firehouse station 19 as they battle both disasters and personal drama.
All 10 episodes of the spin-off’s first season have now been added to ITVX as part of the channel’s Taste of Disney+ scheme as of Wednesday, 10th September.

Season one introduced fans to firefighter Andy Herrera (played by Jaina Lee Ortiz) back in 2018, the daughter of the head of the firehouse Pruitt Herrera (Miguel Sandoval).
She’s teamed up with courageous lieutenant Jack Gibson (Grey Damon), setting the stage for a steamy and unpredictable romance that propels viewers through the rest of the series.

Devotees of Grey’s Anatomy have loved getting to know this equally complicated and lovable set of characters over the years, and now’s the chance for uninitiated UK audiences to get acquainted with this addictive drama as well.
One viewer raved in a five-star Google review: “Station 19 is nothing short of a blazing masterpiece that keeps the flames of excitement burning from the very first episode to the last. This series deserves every bit of its five-star rating for numerous compelling reasons.
“The characters in Station 19 are not just firefighters; they are complex individuals with intricate backstories and multifaceted personalities.
“Watching them evolve and grow throughout the series is a heartwarming journey. You'll find yourself genuinely caring about each character and their unique struggles.”

Another die-hard fan lavished praise: “This show is so good. I ten out of ten recommend. Honestly saved my life, gives you an escape. You won't regret watching it you have to watch it at some point in your life.
“The first time I watched it starting at S3 and honestly I think it made me love it more. It only gets better from after S1. I personally like the season in the middle the most but I love them all Soo much.”
Enthusiasts have also developed a strong connection with Station 19’s supportive community of fans, with one penning: “I never realised what a TV show could mean to me until I watched Station 19.
“What I thought was going to be just another TV show about Fire Fighters and good drama to watch, soon became a safe place and a place where I found a community with new friends on social media.”
And a final fan wrote: “This is an amazing show. It speaks about real world problems. The cast is amazing. If you like greys anatomy this is an amazing spin off.”
Sadly, Station 19 was cancelled after seven seasons, its last episode airing on ABC last year leaving countless fans devastated.
But if you binge the first 10 episodes of the spin-off and can’t get enough, now is the ideal time to sign up to Disney+ to stream the remaining six outings of the hit drama that only gets better as it continues.
Station 19 season 1 is available to stream on ITVX. Seasons 1-7 are available on Disney+.
