Glenn Maxwell is undoubtedly considered one of the finest all-rounders in the world. The 'Big Show' not only delivers with the bat, but his fielding skills are equally impressive. During the 4th T20I against West Indies, Maxwell pulled off an incredible relay catch, the video of which has gone viral on social media
Maxwell's stunning catch
The all-rounder pulled off the stunning catch in the second ball of the 14th over. West Indies' Romario Shepherd was beginning to find rhythm, launching spinner Adam Zampa high and seemingly long over the boundary. The commentators had already called it: “Another six for Shepherd.” But they, like everyone watching, hadn’t counted on Maxwell.
Stationed near the rope, Maxwell timed his leap to perfection, snatching the ball mid-air with both feet off the ground.
As momentum carried him over the boundary, Maxwell twisted his body mid-flight and flicked the ball back into play in one motion all while airborne perfectly into the hands of a waiting Cameron Green.
