The School of Advanced Sciences, VIT-AP University, inaugurated the Five-Day Online International Workshop on “Cutting-Edge Techniques in NMR and Mass Spectrometry,” scheduled from July 1 to July 5, 2025.
This globally-oriented workshop aims to facilitate academic exchange by bringing together eminent scientists, distinguished researchers, and industry professionals to explore both foundational principles and advanced developments in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and Mass Spectrometry—two transformative analytical techniques at the forefront of scientific discovery and innovation.
The inaugural session began with a warm welcome by Prof. S. Srinivas, Dean, School of Advanced Sciences, who provided an overview of the workshop’s objectives. Dr. M. V. Rajanikanth, Associate Dean, highlighted the academic programs offered by VIT-AP University in the sciences. Dr. Nagarjuna Neella, Head of the Department of Physics, introduced the keynote speaker, Prof. Woonghee Lee from the University of Colorado, Denver, USA, setting the stage for a series of insightful sessions. Dr. Dwarsala Adilaksmi hosted the session.
The workshop convenors—Dr. Dripta De Joarder, Dr. Ramana Tamminana, and Dr. Rajarshi Sarkar—expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the university management and all participants for their support and enthusiastic presence, marking the beginning of a highly engaging academic journey.
